I never uploaded a video with singing before. I have always had diffculties singing, but the last months I have been committed to practice. Normally I loose all motivation when I record myself singing, but this time I decided not to record or listen to myself for a long time.

Today I did, and I didn't loose my motivation from hearing my own voice. I am not happy about it, but I feel it is good enough to devote more time into practice.

I liked it. So you entertained atleast 1 person with your voice, which is 1 more than I have.

Two thumbs up. One for the playing and one for the singing.

It motivated me to dust off that tune myself.  Once you've got that chord progression down, there's a whole bunch of others that are the same.

Thanks for the supporting words! I really appreciate it! I will probably try Crawdad song next, any suggestions for similar tunes? I am already practicing Worried Man Blues, Will the circle be unbroken and Lazy John.

I think the following all have pretty much the same chord progression as New River Train:

Roll In My Sweet Baby's Arms, Katy Cline, Crawdad Song, Mama Don't Allow, My Walkin' Shoes.  I'm sure there's more than that.  Melody slightly different of course, but same chords.  Have fun!

How many biscuits, by the Coon Creek Girls. No depression in heaven, (Carter fam') In the shadow of the pines, by Bascom Lamar Lunsford, (but Carter fam' too.)
"Take a whiff on me" Woody Guthrie.
All similar, simple chord sequences, so you don't have to think much about the banjo and can concentrate on singing.
Have fun!
