Thanks to all of you who have started using twofingerbanjo.com these last few months, particularly those who have also pledged on Patreon. It's so cool to see that folks from all around the world are on the site at all hours of the day and night!

I want to give you an update geared toward those who maybe saw the beta version months ago but haven't circled back recently.

There are now teaching videos and tab for various scales, exercises, techniques, and tunes at the beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.

The beginner arrangements are for:

Groundhog (gDGBD)

Cluck Old Hen (gDGBD)

Handsome Molly (gDGBD)

Stay All Night  (gDGBD)

There are intermediate arrangements of:

Pretty Polly (gDGCD)

Say Darling Say (aDADE)

Soldier's Joy (aDADE)

Stay All Night (aEAC#E)

And advanced arrangements of:

Wildwood Flower (gDGBD)

Benton Flippen's June Apple (aEAC#E)

Paul Brown's Cacklin' Hen (gDGDE)

Though those are direct YouTube links (each includes in the description hyperlinked time stamps so you can jump around the video), all the tab resides at twofingerbanjo.com.

I've also added a "performances" page where I will gradually collect videos of me as well as my guests and mentors playing tunes in various two-finger styles. Coming next is an interview page where I will share exclusive long form discussions with banjo scholars and performers. The first guest I've booked is Stephen Wade, so check back in a while to catch that when it posts. Stephen and I just completed our pre-interview, and I'm so excited to chat with him while the cameras are rolling.

I have many more lessons, performances, and interviews coming in the next few years, but I hope the content on there now is helpful enough to spark some passion for this wonderful style, and maybe help bridge gaps and answer a few questions you might have had about two-finger, thumb lead banjo picking. One day I'd also like to get into index lead as well as hybrid styles, but one step at a time.

Matt
