I recently had some set up work done on a banjo of mine and I would like to post a recording of what it sounds like now. But I do not know how to do this. Can anyone can talk me through the process of posting a sound clip? Or is there Any place on the hang out that I can learn this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Been asking the same question for at least the last 15 years in order to post on BHO, had to bypass all Tunes of the Week which I could have often contributed to. Obviously many others have figured it out but some of us – me – are tech-challenged. Good Luck! banjered

On the left side of the Home Page click on Media and on the subsequent menu click on Post MP3 Audio. It will lead you to the Upload New Music on your personal page, and there will be a link for "Required MP3 settings". Click on that and a Help page with instructions and a couple links for further instructions will appear, which will provide plenty of information on the specifics needed for how to create the properly formatted MP3s. Once you have one, then click on Upload an MP3 on your Upload New Music personal page, fill in the information, click Choose File, pick your MP3 and click Upload an MP3. Of course, this all assumes that you already know how to make a recording and get it on your computer, which is another long topic and depends on the kind of equipment, computer, and software you have.

Hello Mark --

First things first.

Do you have the banjo recorded already?
On the phone, on the computer, on something?

That's the first step.

Tell us what kind of hardware you have:
- Computer and OS that it's running
- What kind of phone
- etc.
