I don't agree with the bottom line here ,but it is so funny I have to pass it on.
The post
There's a "spike" in corona cases because there's a spike in testing.
If we gave more IQ tests there'd be a spike in morons too.

I've been using variants of that line for two months now.  I certainly hope those reading it understand sarcasm.

I'm pretty sure we don't need IQ tests to see that there is indeed a spike of morons lately. One need only look around or turn on the news to see them. It's kind of like seeing a termite swarm after a spring rainstorm. You knew they were there all along, but current conditions has brought them out in force.

"Moron" was coined in 1910 by psychologist Henry H. Goddard from the Ancient Greek word ????? (moros), which meant "dull" and used to describe a person with a mental age in adulthood of between 7 and 10 on the Binet scale

I think the recent spikes in Covid cases are parallel with the spikes in morons.

I truly believed that we could open up because people were educated enough during the shutdowns to know that we needed to wash our hands, cover our faces, and stay away from each other. Then some states opened up their bars and people crowded in. I was wrong.

Well it's Alabama so at least they're all in the same family.

Ooops, I was supposed to say that with my in head voice.

It's amazing that young people ever get to become adults. And I include myself in that group. Maybe they can throw syphilis parties too.

I guess all the riots and the protests marchers were immune to the virus right? If you going to call all of the bar openings and the Covid parties goers moronic don't be hypocritical and leave out those morons as well.

But "those morons" were wearing masks.

In the interest of fairness, though, I'm willing to lump them in with rally attendees.

If a man says something in a forest, and there's no woman around to contradict him, is he still wrong?

I like to call them twits instead of morons. They have proven to have a higher IQ what they lack is a high score in CS.
Common sense. I believe it comes from the indoctrination they are suffering.
They have a ready shoot aim mentality and are inclined to go along to get along.

Common sense is very rare these days.
