NO politics, NO religion meaning witnessing. Spiritual songs and hymns, social satire are cool,
NO introductions. By our fruits shall they know us. Your talents were given to you. Do your best work with US.
We play in a single song rotation, so we've been getting 3 songs per night anyway.
We are a drug free, alcohol free and universally encouraging tolerant program with 33 years of volunteer service in our community.
If you have a heartbeat and a shadow, you are welcome with us.
When we are open with our 49 seat venue we book blues to bluegrass, jazz to Django, folk and folly. It'll be good for you.

We will have open stage again this evening. 6:00pm to 6:30 sign up. Play begins at 6:30. Introductions are not needed, just play
There is also a donate button on the Fid's website as well as the Facebook page.
We are livestreaming on Facebook, so you can ask your friends to join us and also donate to the purpose of keeping the music alive.
I know it's a late evening if you are playing from the Eastern part of the country.
Remember we are all volunteer driven, from the back office to the front door. We are working on perfecting our 49 seat venue during this shut down.
For proper ventilation, I just installed a new vent to mix outside air. Because people sing in our venue and that puts everyone at risk, we are in no hurry to re-open our doors. Period. Help us during this time by donating and working with our virtual open stage,
As we make our quest known to the rest of the music community, remember the young people who are coming behind us.
This music kills death itself.
