Just received my new Price flight case from Dr. Gary Price in Jones, Oklahoma.

This is a marvelous American made case, and my banjo is a much tighter fit than in a Calton. I have no financial relationship with Gary, But for anyone considering a case up grade this is the way to go.

Link to his web site.

Agree. I have been extremely pleased with the quality, fit, and weight of my Price case, as well as with the interaction and communication with the maker.

Maybe he’s improved the weight, but the one I’m keeping for a friend is an instant risk to your back—though it’s great for the banjo.

This new one, seems a bit lighter, and less clunky than the Caltons. Maybe two inches less deep which will make a big difference getting it into the overhead bin. It also has wheels which are detachable. I haven’t attached them yet.

The case seems to weigh less than my gun box, even with the banjo in it.   :-)

Don't get the OLD teardrop if you have a Stelling with a resonator. It won't fit.

I love my Price Case. It gets heavy, but I don't worry about my banjo getting damaged.
