My old band The Country Choir playing on Toothaker Island up in Rangely '77 or '78.
David's wife Patty is a talented artist and designed and silk-screened 3 series of tee-shirts of us.This design is my fave.
I like how the fire and moon have still good detail.
I cut the design out of my totally worn out shirt 20 years ago just because the pic was still legible.
Forgot all about this, but found it with other relics while doing the endless cleaning chores.

Oh, how NICE!
And how nice that you saved it.
Steve, just another example of Americana and simpler times. All of us should be so grateful of the many little memories that have enriched our singular lives.
Times are still exactly like this for me.Nothing ever changed for me concerning playing music anywhere in the state of Maine.
This same gathering on Toothaker happens every summer with all the same people plus there kids and grand children.
I helped build the 60' lodge out of the island's logs in the 80s.At the end of one of the weekend parties I was asked to stay on as part of the crew.
I kept 6 chainsaws tuned up and sharp (they hated to start or idle at first) and cleared paths from the felled trees to the building site along with any "Hey,Steve...give us a hand over here,"
Very special island on Mooselookmyguntook Lake.
