Wow that sucks. I had a high opinion of Banjo Ben but maybe it was someone other than him that screwed up.

Might be an issue with the bank?

These are not normal times.

I've never had any problem with Banjo Ben Clark's site. Then again, I've never asked for a refund in the middle of a pandemic, so perhaps some things are on not the same right now.

He's pretty active on FB at present. Maybe just try an email of phone call. I'm sure it's just a glitch in the matrix.

I'd have to agree with everyone. Banjo Ben will make it right. I'm sure there was some glitch or something. Give him some grace during these times. I'd call them.

Banjo Ben is great and we've ordered probably 50 orders from him over the years. Not sure what's up with your order but call them and one of the guys there will make it right. They are a small family owned business and seem like honest people.

Thank y'all for the confidence, the money had been refunded. OldWhiteGuy, I hope you're able to find record of the refund we made back to your card ending in 4548 on March 23. If you can't, I'll be happy to supply our records and help you get it straightened out. We take great pride in how we do business and treat our customers, and you're no different. Thanks!

These type of complaints without evidence pop up every so often, and it is not unusual for most all responders to assume that there is actually a problem as stated or implied by the poster.

  -- that sucks

  -- issue with the bank

-- why the refund, is it that bad?

-- perhaps some things are not the same right now

-- I'm sure there was some glitch

  -- hiccups happen

-- one of the guys there will make it right

So now, it may turn out that it was already "right" -- no "glitch," no "issue," no "sucks," no nothing.  smiley

Evidence first, then the jury can decide.  smiley  Only one responder considered seeking more information -- "Have you called them??"

Well of course I called them first and talked to an employee.
I read my online statement 3 times and there wasnt any deposit for
amount in question during a 3 month period,I was very thorough in my research. The payment to BB was shown correctly along with 3 Truck payments and various small transactions. I am going to my Bank today and see what they have to say about the matter.

I'm sure theres a mistake somewhere , I am not accusing BB of any deliberate wrong doing.

Looks like Ben posted to you just two posts up.  You should take this issue to email.

No, it ain't closed.

After a statement such as "First and last time I'll do business with them also," in a public forum, with no evidence given other than the complaint, have the honesty and good faith to come back and tell the same forum what the bank says and what the actual problem was.

Justify the complaint, or clear Banjo Ben via the same communication forum.

For this reason, I like to see these kinds of threads locked and hidden from view in fairness to the good name of Banjo Ben.  No one is going to read the apology way down thread.

Thanks, he let me know that he did see the refund come through so we're all good. I'm thankful that folks here know how I conduct biz.

I hate to see good people’s reputations get dragged through the mud unnecessarily.

Yep. I'd like to see this useless complaining thread deleted. Doesn't look like there was any real problem.

I filed a complaint with my Bank, my money was put back into my Account.
I have no problems with Banjo Ben, except since we're both live/do business in the same state and I have to pay taxes on any purchase I make, I will shop elsewhere to avoid taxes, which is completely legal.

End of story

Since I dont know how to edit my last post, I have this last thing to add and that will be it for me as far as this subject is concerned.

Please do business with Banjo Ben Clark, he set up shop in Missouri, and it's much appreciated by the musicians of our state.
I have given BBC my best regards and thanks on the subject, I hope the source of the hiccup was found on his end.
