Well, we got the sad news that we are shutting down till the end of April. So we have to do what we have to do. I am wondering how much a day people have been playing before the shutdowns and how much they plan to play now.
I am going to try to play 2 hours a day with emphasis on back up, timing and increasing speed a bit. It will be divided into at least two sessions a day, maybe 3. I guess I will go thru some metronome batteries and learn some more Flatt and Scruggs songs or Bluegrass Album band or JD stuff.
What is every-bodies take on the new down time as related to their banjo playing?

Three 30-40 minutes per day with focus on timing, and tone. That is the plan, I'll see how it goes.
Also do some banjo maintenance, head tension, check hardware, new strings, whatever I find.

As an unpaid volunteer and officer of several organizations I've done most of my work (newsletters, graphic arts and public relations) from home for several years now, so my practice schedule hasn't changed much. I am taking this time away from the band to re-worki some tunes that I played regularly years ago, but have almost forgotten now.

Still working at a hospital with a busy cardiology practice, although procedure numbers are down, given that electives are on hold.

We still have cardiology inpatients, and are otherwise keeping busy doing other tasks, such as screening for COVID and things related.

No 'extra' banjo practice time for me for awhile!

Thanks Ken, the team feels we are ‘just doing our job.’ 40 years in health care and have weathered the ‘newness’ of HIV/AIDS, MERS, SARS, MRSA/MSSA. This is quite a different animal.

Happy ‘extra practice time,’ to everyone out there. Stay safe and smart.
