He didn't look very healthy in the images I googled. One article says he died from covid-19 complications. What does that mean anyway?

Usually it means pneumonia.

I loved listening to his songs.  He was one of the "good ones" who could do bluegrass really well, even though he was known more for being a country star.  As you requested  Joe - - We'll make sure to prop you up beside the jukebox.   R.I.P.

Heard Joe on a radio interview, some years back. Said his Mom came up with the name for his fan club: The DIFFIE CULT!

I like a good pun, but I LOVE a bad pun!

Read about both of these people earlier. Love both of their music. Sorry to hear about Joe and Hope John pulls through.

As a former avid skateboarder I frequent a skate-related site and today read a post from a former professional skateboarder who never smoked, doesn't drink, never had any prior or current illnesses that bring people down from this, and is still very active and healthy. How he described what he went through, in two different phases for almost 2 weeks, really hit me hard. Most folks who get it may live but that doesn't mean they wont think they will die from the symptoms and complications of it.

RIP Joe.
