Preferably Remo Weatherkings. I can find suede, matte black, shiny black on various websites like Deering and Banjo Ben Clark's, but no black frosted heads. Any ideas?

Remo does not make a banjo head like that.

I've been playing and tinkering with all things banjo for 47 years and like Bob Smakula said, I ain't never heard of such an animal. Good luck in your quest, however.

They're on the top shelf, next to the Scotch plaid heads.

Maybe you can find a spray can of matt black automotive primer or paint and pray up a head. Just a though. I reconstitute warm REMO head here with a spray primer similar to Kilz you have there.

Dean offers one on their 'Backwoods 2' banjo.
I'm sure that they'll sell the head as a part.

That is a black mylar head, not a black top frosted as requested.
