Here’s a classic banjo tune by A.J Weidt.

On my gosh, I just had a revelation. I've been playing almost a year and 1/2. I've not been able to plant both pinky and ring fingers on the head, so I've just been planting the pinky and letting the ring finger float. It never occurred to me to plant the ring and let the pinky float. Going to give it a go.

Guess I need to watch more banjo videos.

Nice tune and you play it well.

Thank you. I'm glad that this may have been some help to your own playing, and if my approach works for you that's great. However, there are many better players than me who just plant the pinky and have a flying ring finger.

This is a splendid tune (and a fine rendition). Thanks for sharing.

Do you know if a tab is available? i didn't find one in the Tab Library.

Thanks Curt. As far as I know there is no tablature for this tune (but I could be wrong). I got it from sheet music from the classic banjo website.

Fantastic playing! Glad to see this untapped repertoire interpreted outside of "classic banjo."

Thanks Joel. I find these classic banjo pieces challenging but they're great fun.
