Does anyone know if you can still buy Elliott Capos direct. I have a friend that saw mine and wants one. I bought it years back. I see them listed on a couple of sites, Banjo Ben has a listing for one, but it is a radius. I Don't see a Flat board one listed on his site. Just curious, I cant find a phone or web site direct anymore. Any help appreciated. Thanks, EE.

Hey Double E,

Yes, I saw recently that you can order capos from their website.

AND, I purchased two of them recently, and they are AMAZING, solid and clear-sounding capos. I highly recommend them,

My preference over the Elliott is the Ultimate Banjo Capo. Not huge but I like it a little better. Elderly Instruments has them.

The Ultimate Banjo Capo happens to be made by someone named Elliott - Dave Elliott, in Oregon, no relation to Phill Elliott, who makes Elliott capos.

If you're gonna spend the money for an Elliot, I recommend that you get the "pushbutton" type -- far superior to those that have the little "clamp" that you must reach up to lock the capo into place.

Also... don't know if he still has them, but Arthur Hatfield was selling a pushbutton capo made for him by the "BMF" capo guy. I have one and it's the last capo I'll need to buy...
