My arts and crafts projects have lead me towards glow in the dark paints, which necessitate a black light. Wondering if anyone has any thoughts of what bulbs are the best? Also, what paints? Very dissatisfied with the ones at the craft store. I hate to buy on line, but I'm thinking it may be my best option. Anyone ever use the "invisible" paints before?

As an aside... I'm wondering since "sunshine is the best disinfectant," do you think it will help to put a blacklight in the shower for a few minutes a couple times a week to keep the shower clean? Currently, I stick a small light in there and it's helping, just not enough.

The UV light needs to be quite close to surfaces or else very strong in order to be effective.
Double the distance, 1/4 the strength.

Probably using a squee-Gee on the wet shower walls will be equally effective.

I suggest that you look into Dick Blick Art Supplies on line.

Have not used a Black Light since my rock band in high school. Oh, we were soooo cool.
