Ever since we got the Newest Posts column on the right I've delved off the OFF Topic more & check out collectors corner every day. It's like American Road Show for banjo!
You see people that join to find out about a banjo. There are some very kind, patient & helpful people there to help them. I've known people that fixed up inherited banjos & learned to play. Some just want to know it's make & value.
Why not have a sticky at the top with directions on how to post pictures and which ones are necessary for the experts to figure them out? Serial numbers, measurements or whatever needed to help Identification.
That guy with the $5 pawn shop find makes me want to get out & poke around more!
I've found out that most people ignore stickies. We've posted stickies in many forums telling people what the forum is for, how to use it, etc., and very few bother to click on the sticky, they prefer to just ask questions first, then, if necessary, read instructions.
This is a great idea Bubba. Kollector's Korner has no stickys up yet so this shouldn't bother anyone, and it will be helpful to plenty of people, especially if its title is meaningful and inviting.

For the record, I agree with Sherry because none of the folks who need to ever read the stickies. That’s an inherent software issue, so I won’t putsue it further.
