I'm going through some old stuff from years ago that came from our first computer onto this one.

Got anything saved in your favorites that make you shake your head at but still won't delete?

Here one that makes me happy!

This former sidecar owner likes that one very much! I also found the girl most appealing, she looked like a fun personality.

Oh, I say, how jolly!

But I’m not sure it was worth enduring yet another ad from M____ B________. I guess that $200 million has to go somewhere.

I've got nothing that I wanted to delete, that did not delete.

But, that sidecar boat looks like a half-barrel of fun.
And if you've ever tried to row around in a boat made from half a barrel...... that sidecar is a HUGE improvement.
(Didn't notice an ad from anybody)

Interesting but I’m liking the next video about a Caraboot. Camper, boat and vehicle all in one.

Maybe YouTube has determined that you are unredeemably deplorable and therefore noble to be swayed by such an ad. I can't see the o get away from them.

I'm pretty sure that scooter-boat wouldn't pass 'Elf 'n Safety in today's Britain.

Probably about 3 decades back I was in a small motorcycle shop in Brandon, MB .... a fairly elderly couple was having a close-out sale.    Nobody else was in the shop, so they got around to telling us a few tales of their past motorcycle experiences.  The lady seemed quite proud/happy to regale us about being his "sidecar monkey" from their racing days.  I don't recall much of the details, but was struck with how contented they seemed to be just being together.  smiley   Maybe there's a subliminal message in there.... if you want a long happy life together, take up motorcycle sidecar racing.    https://www.autoblog.com/2016/07/28/sidecar-racing-translogic-204/

I'm not going to show this to hubby. He does NOT need one more thing to want. :-)

My favorites or bookmarks were all placed in alphabetical order so some stuff is jumping out at me that I saved.

When I was a kid I was learning about trapping small game. I came across the plans for these live traps at the library & made one for fun. I made a small one for mice & a coffee can one for rats as an adult. If you can trust your kid not to break their fingers it's a fun project! (not my article).

If you have any plans or random stuff just add it here!

Here's the big one.

I bought this sand racer last month and almost got thrown out of the house...I guess I should have bought one with a sidecar.

I used to collect old Popular Mechanics Magazines & found one that taught you how to refurbish a brass blow torch.

My Grandpa used to use one to heat the oil pan of his snowblower in the winter.

It was cool to hang  out with him early in the morning when he fired it up.

20 years ago I bought a nice one at the flea market & the guy said he wasn't liable if it killed me!

You pressurize gas & heat up the nozzle by filling up the pan under it with more gas & lighting it!

My friend was a mechanic & we did everything safely but he still ran when it lit up!

This guy has all the warnings.

I have one on the shelf. When I was told they burned gas, I thought it best to keep it as a wall hanger.

We used to make skip jacks out of one piece of 4x8 plywood.
It would be cool to see a Kiekhaufer 7 1/2 on that sidecar.

Is this what you called a skip jack? We called the smallest ones made with a single sheet Sea Fleas.
A friend had one when we were in our teens, lots of fun on a flat calm lake!

I can't get your link to post,Bob.
True story.
One guy/one 8' skipjack/one 7 1/2 Quicksilver coming down on plane while nosing through the following wake of the boat being raced.
Skipjack pilot washed out of said SJ while half submerged Skipjack comes back up on plane/wide-open throttle (no spring release on those old Quichsilvers) with no driver aboard.

It made a 1/2 mile circle empty and returned back within 50 feet of where the race started with us standing on the shore watching this thing come ashore at 35 mph and SLAM into a 5' boulder.

It's something about Adobe flash player not working on this new rig?

Maybe if you type it in on your own search? I know you'd find it interesting.

This is an old video but it shows the boats. My dad & uncle built one like the 4 seater at the first of the video with a 40 on it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-MV5a_-caFA

I keep my important stuff written to CD or DVD with backups. I have learned through the years that no matter my diligence to file management, my computer eventually deletes everything for me. (Hard Drive failures.)
