Atta boy Dave !!! Nice looking ride and should look even petter pulling planers all day long!!! We had a great fall fishing on Little Bay de Noc and our ice fishing is about as good as it gets right now. Bucket list ice fishing trip to Lake Erie is on my list, just waiting for the right ice !!! Enjoy your new boat and hope ya get blood on it real soon!!

That looks great Dave, I love the sound of walleye fishing - I hope you have a great season.

What’s the saying.... the two best days of owning a boat are the day you buy it and the day you sell it smiley

Hey Dave, here’s a pic of my U.P. Winter Boat !!! I’m not ready for spring fishing yet, but looking forward to it !!! My fishing partner and best bud just bought a new NITRO ZV21 with a 300 HP merc Verado and 9.9 Merc kicker and of coarse all the bells and whistles. Crazy expensive and doesn’t have a head like yours !!! Love fishing out of it , but just can’t justify the price of that bad boy !!!
Speaking of walleye, check out my post below on winter walleye action. Heading out tomorrow for the weekend on the ice to slay some more eyes !!!

slammer Not much ice fishing on the river here, still some open water but there are a few out there. Ice is still questionable on the lakes, need a week or so of below zero to get trucks and cars out there.

Slammer...nice ice rig! I use a clam Yukon with my Kawi Bayou with chains..except by the looks of the weather this year I doubt there will be any ice. The Trophy is a bit bigger than I was going to go but glad I got the bigger hull..those Erie waves 10 miles offshore can make the day interesting in a smaller tinny
Wallies the last few years have been stupid good. This year they should average 22-26"...and millions of them. Last summer if I was by myself I'd just flatline a body bait or spoon with a 2oz lead zeppelin and limit in an hour or so...bring it on baby!!

Hey Dale, what are the attachments on the sides of the wheels?  I’ve never seen them before.

Jonty, those are called J-Wheelz. They are a bolt on attachment and they only weigh 7 lbs. each. They give you lift in deep snow almost acting like tracks with the width and the paddles for traction and also are foam filled and will float my machine in water if I were to break through the ice. They also give great stability when sideways on steep terrain. Go to J-wheels on google and look at some videos.
Besides all that, they just look damn cool out there !!! LOL
