I wrote this song last year for National Family Caregivers month (November) and I was asked to play it for a benefit for a local non-profit this year...so, I decided to re-arrange it...to spruce it up a bit from last year. Last year I played it in D and only had a couple breaks. This year I play and sing it in F and have three breaks. The funny thing was I had actually decided to move it from D to E and then the week of the performance I changed it to F...all my reference points changed :-)

Anyway, the tuning is odd and I don't know if anyone can tell me if there is a name for it or if it is used for other tunes/songs. I capo at the 1st fret (G#) and down-tune the 5th string to F. It sounds a lot cooler than having the 5th string tuned up to C.

For playing along, the chord progression is like Lonesome Road Blues:

1     1     1     1
4     4     1     1
4     4     1     1
5     5     1     1
