I've uploaded two live recordings of of my 1980s bluegrass band performing at the restaurant/bar attached to the Bowie, Maryland, Quality Inn in January 1985.

The Tracker is our copy of the Country Gazette version from their album All This and Money, Too, except we play it slower and don't change key for the instrumental outro. Too many years ago to remember, but I assume I couldn't figure it out. Why we didn't simply have the guitar or mandolin play the ending in the new key will remain a mystery.

The Girl From The Canyon comes from Jonathan Edwards's 1977 album Sailboat.  Keith Whitley released a bluegrass version in 1982. We'd been playing the song from our first year in 1980.

These recordings were direct line out to cassette tape.
