I have gotten into the habit of finding an episode of The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross on YouTube, turning down the volume and cranking up the speed to 2x and picking along. I goes great with bluegrass picking and it's a lot of fun watching a painting appear while I am providing the background. If you are in the habit of staring at your neck, this may help you to get used to looking away from the neck while you're picking. I like to play a nice fast-paced medly. Don't worry about your happy mistakes. The episodes last about 12 minutes so that's about 4 or 5 bluegrass tunes. Have fun.
Try this episode to start you out: Mystic Mountain Don't start picking til Bob starts painting!
