Looks like a mandolin to me.. There is a Mando Hangout as well.

The banjo is likely a low-end and unmarked Slingerland, based on the peghead shape and shell construction. No idea on the mandolin.

Banjo is definitely a Slingerland product, probably sold under a wholesaler's or music store's name. I have no clue on the mandolin, although it looks inexpensive.
