Very creative. Good visual flow and nice rhyme.
Is that a red-winged blackbird, getting a ride from his big friend, the Ball Deegull?
Or is that a proud symbol of AMERICA, being attacked by some hippie pigeon with ketchup on its shoulder?
I see red tailed hawks frequently being attacked by smaller birds to keep them away from nests.
Eagles are more likely abundant now than in the past. On 2 occasions I've witnessed them cleaning up road kill like a vulture.

Oh the majesty of the Ball Deegull (thanks Mike!) There are lots down at the river enjoying the salmon spawn.
I was talking to a neighbour & we saw a big one come out of the woods? & dropped something in my backyard.
We went around and looked & found this. NSFL.
I was fishing a few weeks ago in a native Brook Trout stream in Virginia and saw a Bald Eagle chase a Great Blue Heron down the stream. Neither one was singing a happy song.
There are plenty of shots of blackbirds defending
But these guys go places
The Bald Eagle eats carrion when it available. In fact, Benjamin Franklin wanted the wild turkey to be our national bird instead of the Bald Eagle. I am not referring to all eagles, just the "Bald Eagle". It is not the biggest or more formidable type eagle.
a bALL dEAGLE IS A FISH EAGLE. they displace each other, all robbers.
Golden Eagles don't do that. They run off with big stuff like sheep.
Just commenting. Not drifting.
bubbalouie That picture scares me. Safety cones warning of threshhold approaching. Otherwise, let's jam.
I thought the picture of the rainbow at chance after 2" of rain in the desert, then the dove on the wire, was a special moment,. Thanks for taking a look.
