Unfortunately, the two banjo camps I was considering for the spring, Suwannee or Nashville, both conflict with my travel schedule. What other options are out there east of the Mississippi between mid-January and April?

Thanks for posting that! I know Joe DeCosimo; he's a really good player. I'll get his take on it.

Here's the non-Facebook link for those who don't do Facebook:

My husband Dean and I have been staff musicians for this event for the past three years.  We feel so lucky to be included - it is a highlight of our year.  On top of the usual group workshops, one-on-one instruction is available with all of the instructors at no additional charge.  There is a jam going on at all times, being led by the instructors or staff, or just a spontaneous group of students.  And the food is plentiful and delicious.  It is small, so you feel like you really get to know the instructors and attendees.  And it's in the beautiful NC mountains, near the southern entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

If you have any questions, feel free to reply or private message me.
