Fun, if you’re an adrenalin junkie. Seems everybody wants to do “extreme” stuff these days. I get enough of a rush myself just looking down from the edge of my balcony.....

Wow! I took the whole half hour ride down! I'd be scared of heights just standing on parts of that trail!

Reminds me of the dare devil stunts people were doing a hundred years ago.... then came the wars

Make the race uphill for a change.
Fresh layouts of mountain bike trails both here and east near Valemount.

That was insane; I'd love to do it (albeit at about a fraction of the speed).

Couldn't help but notice he had "bluegrass" on his visor. Turns out it is a brand of MTB helmet (and other access.).

I see the MTB racers today are just as senseless as the motorcycle desert racers of 40 years ago.

I wish they had helmet cameras back then.

Holy crapoli, he just goes from one set of hazards to another. How many practice runs does it take to know where to turn and not launch yourself off the mountain? Except to say, "I can do it and you can't," what's the reason for it?

Everything's a crazy challenge these days, from Dirty Kanza to Three Peaks. Ice and snow were scary enough to commute in; add the scree, twists, turns, and that first little "bridge" - I wouldn't touch this, maybe walk a part of it.

I was going down Abbey Dawn road the other week, flying down to the bottom and my chain went into the spokes and brought me to a screeching halt; got my foot out of the pedal just in time. But that's nothing to these guys. I admire the skill level but question their sanity.

It's the spandex pants - cuts off the blood circulation to their common sense.

Crazy-a$$ed "adrenaline junkies".  Not for me - - not now or ever.
