the battery compartment for snark tuner

The dog grabbed it when i dropped it on the the floor and chew it up.
Luckily he did not swallow the battery.
If any one has and old one there not using i could use just the battery holder.
I would be glad to send a buck or 2 for shipping but i think you could just put it in a
regular envelope.

I lost my battery holder too. You can just slide the battery into the tuner and it still works.

Michael, I have a Snark that has one tab broken off the back of the tuner like the one you show.
I was able to fix it with a small wire tie wrapped around the two tabs and holding the stem part
of the tuner in place. Works just fine. I think wrapping a wire tie around all three of those tabs
is a good idea. Reinforces what is a weak spot on these tuners.

Thanks for the advice.  I will probably do that to the Snark I bought to replace the broken one.

I have a snark without battery door. Stick the battery in and put a piece of masking tape over it works well.
