maybe this has been discussed already, however I`m trying to figure out the rim size of the Recording King RK-OT25-BR, is it a 12'' rim?
I already got a Deering Goodtime open back banjo (not the Americana version), and I`m considering byuing the banjo above for its warmer sound, as I basically play Clawhammer style only.
That RK has an 11" rim.
Thanks Emiel :)
At this point I`m not sure if buying the RK makes sense, having a Deering Goodtime OB already.
Any suggestion for a 12'' rim bajo around that price range?

Sorry, no. They will cost more as far as I know.
I think Bob Carlin Goldtones may be in the general price range, not knowing where youa re and what the RK's cost, but you'll probably want to look at all the openbacks in the Marketplace classifieds and sort by price:
Germany here, I had a look at Elderly Instruments as they do ship to Europe as well.
RK are quite cheap I`d say, for a banjo, here you can easily find them at about 500/600 euros.
I guess, as Emiel said, 12'' banjos are more expensive than that, which is fine.
The only cheaper 12'' I`ve found is the Deering Goodtime Americana (there`s a scooped version), I lilke its sound by the way, but having already a standard Deering Goodtime Openback (and I`m happy with it), I`d rather try something different.
I think I`ll research a little bit more, double the budget and make up my mind, right now I`m checking some of the Bart Reiter and Goldtone models.
Yes, the Goodtime 12" (Americana) can be had for € 598 at Thomann. I forgot about that one.
