I have been unable to find any information on J.N. Beevor. Probably from late 1800's. Unsure what country he may have been from. Anyone heard of him? Thanks very much.

Could be a UK retailer.
You should post more pictures showing the entire banjo and with closeups of various parts. The name may or may not mean much, because many banjos were made by a company, but sold to wholesalers who would put their own names on them. This one might say J.N. Beevor, but could have been made by a different maker.
