Just bought a pile of parts from a Craigslist seller...i have this resonator flange but none of my banjo friends recognize it. Any help is appreciated. Inside diameter is 10.5 inches.

Thanks

There's a coincidence - I'm about to give a talk about that flange in two weeks.
It's a Wm. L. Lange flange (but I can't identify the die cast company as there is no mark).
Many of these flanges are stamped with a Lange patent number back by tailpiece end on the underside of the flange. It was used on several 1930's Lange branded banjos especially the Lange-Craft line.

It's indeed a Lange flange, but in the '30s they sold a bunch to Oscar Schmidt as well. After Lange went under (1939-ish?) they started appearing on Gretsch banjos.

I agree on the Lange-made(or whoever made it for Lange) This is often confused with the Kay flange.

Dan - With no help from Banjohangout members who as a group seem to lack poetic attributes and after pouring over several catalogs searching for catchy descriptions of the sound holes I finally settled on "Lange-Tone Flange Banjos". I'm not much for descriptive imagery myself!!
I really wanted something distinctive like "F holes" or "Tulips" or "Dot-Dash" (like the Kays) but no dice.
