Not my item...but if you have original pre-war Planet tuning pegs...you might need this.

That's not the correct wrench for the Planet tuners.

  This tool allows one to work on Ludwig planet tuners (tighten, loosen, remove, adjust), & remove certain resonators. It will not help w/ tension rods, which requires a dedicated Ludwig key.

That is the correct wrench...not the closed-end socket for the tension hook nuts (unless you’ve got a Ludwig banjo...or whatever else has the same size hook-nuts)...but for tightening the round threaded bushings, of the Ludwig Planet tuners as they are tightened to the peg-head face. Better than holding needle-nose pliers...at the correct angle before you slip & scratch the finish of the peg-head. Hope that is clear...as mud... Brian
