I finally summoned up the courage to post a recording. Here I'm playing Snake River Reel out of Double C on my Deering Americana Artisan.

Thanks for the kind words. I learned the tune from Lukas Poole’s video lesson on YouTube. I’ve addd an embellishment or two.

Thank you, Janet. I did see the TOTW thread. The second link in your post is the Bolin Creek String Band, who are local to me and their fiddler plays in a regular jam session just up the road.

Also, let me take the opportunity to thank you for your tab library, which I’ve used for several tunes, mostly the Irish ones, which can be hard to find for 5-string and hard for me to learn by ear. I’m working on Tam Lin at the moment.
