If you’ve enjoyed the old-time Tune of the Week and have not been a regular presenter, please consider trying it out. It's not hard and the bit of work you do for a presentation is actually pretty fun and interesting. I recently contacted a fiddler who will be performing on the IBMA band showcase venue and will present one of his tunes in October. He was quite excited to be contacted.

There's a list of tunes already covered and we welcome ones that haven't been covered for several years. Let me know here or email me if you're interested at janetburton13@gmail.com. For our regular presenters, if you don't contact me I'll be contacting you. :)

We're now good until the end of November. Thanks for helping keep this thing alive. I believe it's the longest running TOTW there is, at 581 tunes this week. There have been others who have a TOTW, or a Tune of the Month, on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. Personally, I like the challenge of listening to and arranging tunes new to me in the old-time genre. I also like that we can look up past tunes with the alphabetized list in the sticky post of this forum and that I can find information on the sources, plus recordings and tab.

So, please, let me hear from some of you!

Two people contacted me to volunteer. Thank you, thank you! We do need some more good folk to step up and give it a try. And check out this week's tune, Johnson Boys, by Cyndy . It's an on-fire topic after less than 24 hours!

Another volunteer came forward and we can use one more for this Friday, September 27th as our scheduled presenter couldn’t make it. Not much notice, but perhaps somebody will fill the open spot. I’ll cover if need be.

Hi Janet.
I am trying to learn CH and just came across your tabs and video for Sandy River Belle, and I must say a huge thank you. Just what I need. So clear and easy to follow and above enjoyable, which is what music is all about. Well done. After I get it down I look forward to trying some more of your presentations.
What is my quickest way directly to your complete list?
Best wishes
Michael Brennan.

That’s nice that some of my videos have been helpful. The ones that I call Tabtorials have been made for a Facebook page called Clawhammer Rules. If you apply for membership, I am an administrator and will admit you. Then if you search my name you will see all those videos. We have a Tune of the Month and I’ve done a few videos which incorporate tab into a brief demonstration lesson. If you don’t go through Facebook, let’s message each other and I can send you links.
