HI all. Anyone out there ever heard of a prewar sticker being on the wrong side and upside down. I found an old style 3 and the sticker is on the serial number side of the rim and it's upside down. It's no doubt it's a real sticker. I know Gibson did some abnormal stuff sometime but this is a new one on me.

I'm not sure how to attach a photo.
"........no, no, no.......green side up, green side up.......!"
Yes !!! There are a few known examples of the sticker being on the wrong side of the rim AND upside down.
Must of been the summer help.
Heck's pup...if i was stuck on the assembly line applying decals, I might be tempted to rebel once in a while.
It is certainly easier to read that way. Just flip it over. You don't have to hold it over your head.
