”Firmly hold tool when removing il.”

”Do not remove tool while spindle is roatating.”

I remember Dave putting together items made by the Japanese and ending up using words that would turn the room blue.... because of their translation from Japanese to English. Really, I think they do a pretty good job considering that English is not their first language. Doubt we could do as good translating from English to Japanese.

But...... it is good for a laugh occasionally.

If I manufactured a product that came with use instructions in several foreign languages I would make darn sure that the instructions were clear and accurate in every case.

If I were a manufacturer I would have a factory to manufacture my product, and I would hire people to work in that factory and produce the product. And I would expect them to do a competent job.

And if the product were sold internationally, I would hire people to write user manuals in the relevant foreign languages. And I would expect them to do a competent job.

Capeesh?

Right? It's beyond me why, in the day of the internet, companies doing business in other countries don't get their instructions proof read by a native (or at least very good) speaker of the language of the countries they're selling to. It shouldn't be all that expensive and would be worth a lot in terms of customer service and satisfaction.
