Hi all. Got my merlin longneck in the post yesterday and I love it!! A couple of small jobs to do but nothing major. Now where the neck bolts onto the pot or rim there are 6 bolts. Three large ones and three for neck adjustment. Now one of the adjusting screws has snapped at one time and I was wondering would anyone know where I could get a replacement one or even a set? It needs a little adjustment as the action is pretty high. Just wondering if anyone here knows where the best place would be to get some or if anyone knows what type they are as regards to the thread pitch etc. I don’t want to start taking it apart until I have some more info. I know there is a video on YouTube where a guy takes one apart to show how they are built so I will try to contact him. In the meantime any advice would be welcomed.

I have a Merlin and the only problem I had with it was the tailpiece cover screw stripping the thread in the aluminium part. It was a simple fix by getting a local engineering shop to fit a "Helicoil" insert and all was well. As far as I remember it was a standard Metric thread - unusually enlightened for a US manufacturer. I should imagine all the bolts will be standard Metric threads.
