I seem to recall some people being down (?) on Tim's.  If this  http://torontostarnie.newspaperdirect.com/epaper/viewer.aspx   doesn't make the coffee taste better, I don't know what will.   devil

40 Creek Whiskey Cream seems to be a "fixer-upper" for just about any coffee
and anything else which claims to be vanilla ice cream.

I had a Timmies coffee & crueler for breakfast today. I heard on the radio that they're going upscale with a pastry chef to melt your cream brulle doughnut with a blowtorch. They are going to start serving frothed soy milk & stuff like that but not in a small or rural town near you Owen. They said on the CBC .

Did I make a convert outta ya Brian? I know you don't like the rye but the Cream is pretty darn good Eh?

Haven't tried maple Crown Royal yet. There's a French word for the liqueur where you just mix rye & maple syrup.

HA! I bought the 40 Creek Cream and had every intention of trying it.
Bottle disappeared for a week+. Put it out on the counter when I found it again.
Problem with company "trying to help."

It's better than I expected in both coffee and on ice cream.
One more won't put me in a grave.

Black coffee all the way. If I wanted flavored creams, I'd just eat some candy.

Award-winning 40 Creek Canadian whiskey is not sweet, never was, neither is cream. Candy is sugar.

Some outfit produces seasonal seasoned whiskeys: chocolate, pumpkin spice, and some others.

Sorry wi it's not flavoured cream. It's Booze flavoured with cream that you put in your coffee. surprise

I’ve only had Tim Horton’s on the few occasions I’ve been north of the border, and it was usually in Pearson between flights. I’m not sure I can draw any conclusions. If your coffee is too bitter, like Star***ks, put a tiny bit of salt in it. When I make a pot of coffee at home I put about five grains of coarse sea salt in the filter. It’s not enough to taste it, but it’s enough to trick your taste buds into ignoring many of the bitter elements of coffee. I’m told the sea salt adds essential minerals too, so it’s good for your health too.*

I couldn't be bothered with Tim's. In fact, I don't see why it remains popular. Mediocre product, so-so service, and yet it has this iconic status. Seems like "we're famous because we're famous," Like celebrities.

You know what happened to Tim Horton, right?

So ... why do they call those things "Timbits"? surprise
