The pots were from Ode with a faux wood veneer on the outside. probably Ode neck blanks as well. Cool banjos.

Looks very much like my first banjo,a Wabash. I think it had a diecast shell about a half inch thick,HEAVY. Had the same purplish MOT,Elton tuners and same tailpiece. I dont see anything that says ODE to me.

Too cool to sell for only $339. The seller never learned how to string that tailpiece.

from what i read, the maker of these checked in with the ODE factory and his own factory made very similar pots. not sure if they were competitiors or what exactly. and then a fire or flood destroyed his factory and he moved out to california. the ODE/Christy/Gariepy/ aluminum pot trend during this short time is very interesting to me.

Pot should be ODE but it's under the plastic crap. When you see them, the ODE markings have been removed with a grind wheel. Elton hardware—same as ODE—and probably purchased from Chuck/Kix's wholesale division. Pittman 5th string capo... I like that.

Christy normally made his own necks. Chuck et all never made them that clunky.
