A friend inherited this banjo and asked me the value as he wants to donate the proceeds to grandson's college fund. I said it appears to be a Rich era Granada and if so would be a desirable instrument. Here a re some pictures, what do you think? Serial Number is 8809-124

I think your right, would be september of 1988. Those are desireable banjos. Have more pictures? the label, a good shot of the headstock and the side of the banjo showing the flange would be helpful. But likely a desireable banjo
