If you go to a gig or jam do you bring your own fire extinguisher or is the forum responsible for providing them? What kind of case do you carry one in or do you use a gig bag?
Curious minds want to know what the protocol is, don't want to show up somewhere with the wrong brand or a foam extinguisher when you should bring a CO2 type.

Thats funny! Serious note though.....there's a guy at my work that I call "The piano man". He knows I play guitar and banjo, so he approached me one day asking if I'd like an antique 1890's piano that was his grandmothers. He had recently inherited it. I said yes I'd love it, but had nowhere to put it. He said, well...its gotta go, if you dont take it, I'll get rid of it myself. I said, sure, just let me reach out some folks about it, I can maybe find a home for it.

I called around that day to various friends, and found somebody that actually was happy to come and pick it up and take it home. When I called the "piano man" back, the next day, he was upset that it took me so long to get back to him. And he told me that he had burned the piano the previous night...and he was serious! I couldn't believe it.

I would have told the guy, "Rats, I found a buyer who was willing to pay $6,000 for the piano as it's a very rare one".
