Been around for awhile but I ran across it again tonight and offer it up here for your listening pleasure.

Happy Memorial Day,

That was nice! Thanks for posting it! It must be nice to have those 4 in. pinky's. He can really stretch and get those hard to reach notes.

He is an amazing player and a really good teacher.
I took lessons from him, not only is he patient but he could re-tab out a song during a lesson.
Many times I would say I could't "hear" the song in playing it and he would tab it out so it sounded
like the song I was playing.

His CD of JP Sousa music completely blew my mind. Piano accompaniment.

Awesome as always. Equally impressive is the banjo he's playing. Would love one of those.

That is a nice banjo & I remember when he got it. Personally, I liked his previous one better, the one that's on the cover of  his album with Hot of the Press.  I'm sure the neck on that one was not original, but I still liked it.

Bill is an amazing musician & teacher. I picked up a lot of stuff from him.

Just bought his "Begin the Beguine" CD. Agree, great style and anytime I can emulate him, I try!

The piece he's playing is amazing and a nice example how three-finger picking isn't tied to a small musical genre. But - is that just my ears or is one of his strings tuned a little off? I can't tell whether it is the 2nd or the 3rd string that sounds sour to me in some parts of the piece but I tend to believe it is the 3rd.
