Who sells these now. Looked at the DR ARM but it seems most places have either stopped making them or their out of stock.
Thanks Ronnie

I just bought 2. One from Dr. Arm mohagany, and one from Nechville also mahogany. There is one for sale on Reverb right now for $40. That's about $25 less than the ones I bought. I installed the Dr. Arm yesterday, and I'm waiting for the Nechville one that has been shipped. I can't believe how great it is. I should have bought one years ago. reverb.com/item/20167221

http://reverb.com/item/20167221 The Reverb one mounts differently, and it actually looks like a better mounting set up. It mounts like the original metal armrest. I wish I would have seen it earlier. It says it's used. But it's $39 less than the Nechville. Appears ok. But I just noticed that it looks like the bevel is not as rounded as the Dr. Arm and Nechville, check it out and see what you think.

Nechville has many available now $69 $5 shipping. Dr. Arm has 2 Maple in stock for $65. I guess I got the last Mohogany, it says sold out for the Mahoganys.

...or you could make your own unique one...

Whatever you find just make sure it is curved on top, and has that pronounced rounded bevel as it slopes downward against your forearm. You don't want it flat on top, with a cornered edge like a metal one. That is the whole reason for having a wood one. I'd just get the Nechville just to be safe.

Hey, I hope I caught you in time. I just got the armrest from Nechville. It is not as rounded on top as the Dr. Arm. And the bevel is not as rounded on the edge. I am returning mine and buying another Dr. Arm. Just wanted to give you a heads up.

Are you referring to the BanjoMate thin line armrests at Little Mountain Music?  If so I believe the Thinline is the only armrest that they make and sell.
I have two on my banjo's, and have installed several on other banjos for other players.
Everyone that I know of likes them.

I mean the Dr. Arm from banjo lit. I notice the thinline doesn't have the angle I'm seeking. Looks like it still has a sharp non sloping edge.

I received a Mahogany from banjolit Dr. Arm last week. I ordered another one yesterday. I spoke to them by email and they said they will have more in next week. They have Maple ones now. So I am waiting for a Mahogany one they will send me next week when they come in. I will have one on each of my banjos. They are the best ones available. Totally rounded and beveled. I had a Nechville but I returned it, in favor of the banjolit one.

I got lucky and found a walnut. Banjolit also told me they have more coming. Would love to have a mahogany.

Yeah, I can't wait for my mahogany to come in. It really makes you want to pick it up and play, they feel so nice. Wish I had one years ago.
