This place will kill you. No matter who you are and no matter what the season is.

Hi Brian! I could look it up but there was a Lady from Holland here that dropped her apple in an eddy of the Englishman Falls. She went @## over tea kettles trying to retrieve it & they found her a few days later downstream.

We've had a few people get too close to the cliff side when taking selfies. Bye Bye Now!

...you mean like this dude at the Grand Canyon, when we visited there a few years ago?  [The depth perception (?) in the pic is off... the rock "pillar" behind the guy is a fair distance... he was  at the absolute edge... and it was a l-o-n-g way down.]    Edit: obviously not a selfie.

How did they find out that she deliberately went in there because of the apple?

Well, judging by the looks of him, the dude is obviously nuts anyway. BTW, how did you get hold of the photo?

OK, so the kids were not injured but the father was. And then the father left them with the night approaching? Did the father perhaps fall on his head?

We taught out 3 children basic survival skills including the girls. Our daughter who lives in Washington State just spent last weekend with 2 of her boys on a survival/wilderness camp out. Too many people don't understand that Mother Nature has no sympathy and is out to get you if you don't keep alert and watch what you are doing. It is her way of flushing out the shallow end of the gene pool.

Brian has it right. This place will kill you. No matter who you are and no matter what the season is.

That comment is not unique to the PNW.

I just downloaded it from my camera.   He was there with a couple of other guys... I just took the opportunity to take my pic as they were taking theirs.  I suppose it's of no significance, but the group conversed in something other than English... I'm not up on such things, but I guessed it to be either German or Dutch [probably the former]  wink .   BTW, there was adequate signage/fencing  [3+ ft. (?) high chain link], but where there's a will....

Awww, I thought that, since you got the photo, he may be someone you know or even you yourself so I was trying to pull your leg a bit.
