Does anyone know what banjo Ron Stewart played on the recording of Old hollow tree on the Boxcars “All In” album?

Thanks in advance

If memory serves me right, Google Ron Stewart, find the Banjo Newsletter interview with him and he describes the different banjos used on that album.
As I recall, that one was a pre war original flathead RB flathead Granada owned by a fellow in Indianapolis.
I could be all wet on the source, but I am pretty sure about the banjo.

You're not wet.....damp maybe. :) It is the Granada that you mention, an original flathead PB that came from the Indianapolis area and is owned by a man in Arkansas!

Here is what he says about the whole "all in" album:\
RS: I used the new Yates Skillethead, the old Skillethead Flathead, a Yates RS Mahogany, Robby Boone’s Yates Skillethead, and a Flathead Granada I call Old Indy. By the way, thanks Bill! (Bill is the owner of Old Indy —Ed.)

I just cant think of a banjo I like better than the one used on Old Hollow Tree so I'm trying to figure out that specifically. Maybe Ron will chime in here.

Thanks for pointing me to the BNL interview.

RS: Well, thank you, I always enjoy talking with you, and my opinions are just that—opinions! Everybody has them, and mine aren’t always the right ones! Ask my wife!

These are the banjos Ron plays on the last Boxcars CD, “All In”:

Jeffrey’s Hell, Alone and Wondering Why, Don’t Fall in Love With a Girl Like That: new Yates Skillethead.

Lonesome Won’t Leave Me Alone, Born and Raised in Covington, I’ve Lost You, That’s What She Said: old Gibson Skillethead

I’m Over You: Robbie Boone’s new Yates Skillethead

Crawford County: Ron Stewart Yates mahogany

Old Hollow Tree: Bill Anderson’s flathead Gibson Granada
