I know this question has been answered before, but it seems all the links mentioned in those posts have gone dead. Does anyone know where I can buy or borrow Harry Reser's 20 Lesson Instruction Course for Tenor Banjo?

I would also like to find the laater books Charles McNeil did after his mtheod books - I think they were called "progressive studies". Any sources for the Reser and McNiel books would be appreciated - any format.
I just did a Google search for Harry Reser's tenor banjo books and came up with about a dozen. Might check some of them out and see if any are the one you want. Can do the same thing for Charles McNeil.

Thanks. I emailed him - seems like a great guy! He had 500 copies printed, and they sold out. But, he will print on demand, spiral bound for $20 Euros, which I think is about $24. He offered to mail it when he visits the US in June, so I won't have to pay international shipping.
Thanks for your kind comments!
Following your post here I received 2 more inquiries already, and I hope it won't outgrow the spare space in my suitcase :-).
Seriously, though, I will - once again - travel the south west of the US in June and could mail from there. Unfortunately, I cannot estimate postage, as the USPS page insists on zip codes from / to before they will give me any figures. The tutor in its padded envelope measures 11.5 x 14.5 inches and weighs 22oz or 1.34 lbs. Given the cost for the book at $22.40 at present exchange rates, I expect the total to amount to slightly above $25.00 - maybe somebody can apply better judgment here.
Remember, I would need postal addresses before I leave Germany end of May in order to be able to mail. Payment via Paypal after I shipped will be fine for me (haven't met a dishonest banjo player yet).
The tutor was distributed in the US via the late Dave Frey in CA, and Elderly Instruments. It is my understanding that there are no copies left, and the decreasing demand did not justify more to be printed and shipped.
Thanks for listening!
