For most of my former lives, I was John Smith, or Jane Doe...once in a while I was Joe Schmo. But in one distinct life, I was the guy in the kitchen with Dinah...strummin' on the old banjo. Who were you? (Most of the good ones are already taken, like Julius Caesar, Hannibal, Alexander the Great, Cleopatra, Nefertiti...). First come, first served!

I remember a New Age (I didn't attend) meeting ( for want of a better word) where 5 women all turned up claiming to be Cleopatra in a former life. There can't have been much room in her back them if all these ladies inhabited the same body.

I was a world-renowned ragtime piano player, second only to Jo Ann Castle. I was also the world's most superb banjo picker. I could play circles around Earl Scruggs! Your head would spin if you could have heard me.

Again, several of the world's major religions believe in some version of reincarnation as a central tenant of their faith. To belittle it, either by putting it down, or by making it a game is the equivalent of doing the same thing for any of the beliefs of the Abrahamic religions and thus it should be out of bounds with regard to the hangout.

Why are you going out of your way to shut down threads by bringing politics or religion into it? This is no more religious than talking about flying because Mercury, the Roman god could fly. Don't look for trouble where none exists. You are quite a bit oversensitive for no reason.

I did not bring religion into it, Mooooo; you did.  More than a billion people believe in some variation of Samsara as part of their religious beliefs.  To believe that none of these people could be on the BHO is simply wrong.  Continuing this thread is a violation of the forum rules.

please stop introducing religious terms like Reincarnation or Samsara into the conversation, we are talking about non-religious past lives, not reincarnation or samsara. I'm guessing you were some sort of forum nazi in a past life, or is it in this one? You are welcome to stay out of this conversation if you feel offended by what you think might offend others.

Continuing this thread is NOT a violation of forum rules. Successive attempts by two members to insert religious views and to deliberately start arguments, is.

I was also a moderator in a past life. I locked out members by the thousands. Boy, that was FUN!

You/ Me/ and NOT NOBODY EVER had a "past life".
Pull yer head out of that area where the sun don't shine
Wake up and "smell the coffee" after you do so.

Good God - - It's amazing some of the CRAP that folks (these days) dream up.
You're welcome to live in your fantasy world.  Stay away from me and reality.

"Stay away from me and reality"?

Okay, if that's what you want, then you might as well have said goodbye to some really fine persons on here. As for "CRAP," I admit there is tons of it, but you will rarely find it on this site.

Frankly, I find the fantasy world quite a fantasy to live in. I can get married to the BEST partner, have perfect kids, perfect everything, perfect perfection, etc. For me, fantasizing can actually help me let off worries. Just imagine what it would be like if nobody imagined anything!

That's about the funniest turn of a phrase I have ever heard.
