I want to have some cosmetic touch up done on my Gibson RB250 (1984) along with a general setup check. Would like to have a sliding capo removed, the holes filled and spikes installed. It also has a couple of dings I would like fixed. Any recommendations would be appreciated. I would prefer to avoid the high cost of shipping it twice.

You might try going to his website and asking Royce Burt that question. He lives in Plant City FL and he would be aware of banjo repairmen in your area.

Hello,

I live in your area (Oxford FL).

I have an excellent instrument repairman who is also a banjo picker in a local bluegrass band. His name is Pat McLaughlin in Eustis. He picks up instruments weekly from Bondz Music in Wildwood. He has repaired and set up a number of my banjos. Great guy, knows everything about banjos and a great picker too.

You may contact me through this site if you like...
