I am looking for the lead sheet to this song Paddy O'Rafferty, in G. I have heard it and have a copy that I found on the web a few years ago, but it doesn't read like the song sounds. Example, when I listen to one video, I hear a measure that has a rests. I am new to Irish jigs, I play jazz tenor, but I like the single note playing. Also, a novice in reading music so sometimes I have to stop and count the notes. Thanks

Have you tried thessesion.org? There are a gazillion versions here, several in G.  You can download the sheet music and also a midi file to help identify the one you're looking for.

There are two jigs and a slip jig I know by the name Paddy O'Rafferty(Paidín Ó Raffeartaigh) If so it can be found here:
thesession.org/tunes/741 (in D, three part)
or by typing into the search bar Paddy O'Rafferty PDF I came up with:
digital.nls.uk/special-collect.../87780902 (D)
and this one:
folktunefinder.com/tunes/181316(D)
There's also the "other" Paddy O'Rafferty(in G) here: traditionalmusic.co.uk/irish-g...ferty.htm (in G,two part, very different to the D tune)
