Josh, as a former Brainjo student, I thank you again for all you do for us. Your banjo playing is inspirational. These selections are awesome.

Which Brainjo option are you using on Napoleon Crossing the Rhine, Josh? Sounds amazing!

Thanks! That one was recorded with the Hobart. I absolutely love the sound of it as well (and it does sound like it does on the recording in real life, too :) ).

Don’t know what this banjo honorific Hobart has to do with Hobart sic Smith’s sound, other than a way of citing him without paying rights to his heirs— same for the Tommy on the you tube demo- but don’t you think the fourth string over shadows the first. It has an Interesting guitar like sustain on the fourth string but not much punch on the high notes on the first.

This is great.

I have a playlist of these downloaded to my phone now. For the past few weeks I have been playing them pretty much full time in the car. With my commute and other running around.....(30 miles to work and 10 to the closest gas station to my house), It adds up to a lot of time. I think it is really helping me get better at some songs I thought I knew, and I'm getting my head around some songs I want to learn. I'm already working on a couple of new tunes.

Thank you sir!
