Hi All,
My newly acquired Paramount Style C has a buzz on the e string starting around the high b. As I play ITM that note is important.
If I could do a minor tweak to just get that not it would be great.
The banjo is in mint condition and the neck looks pretty straight. The frets look low to me and I imagine a re-fret will be in the cards sooner or later. The heal is not cracked and the neck adjust screw is all the way down (as most are it seems from reading here). I've read that notes above the b (where I rarely go) are not that important anyways so...
Thoughts?

Have you checked for a high fret?

As Dan has mentioned it’s probably a high fret. The high fret would be the next one above the fret that buzzed. You can tap the fret down with a fret punch or maybe just a small plastic hammer, if you don’t have a fretting hammer.
