Good morning from SW Michigan....have a great day everyone.
Good morning from beneath quite a lot of snow on this portion of Wisconsin.
I set my alarm for 6 AM, so as to have plenty of time to dig out my car and get to the dentist.
Imagine my surprise, to discover that my neighbor, who is 90, was already out there with his snow-blower, clearing the sidewalk and removing the wall of snow which the City plow had put across the end of the driveway.
I am amazed and impressed.
How DOES one express gratitude for such an act of kindness?
Especially when one's own snow blower is not running well?
Good Morning Everyone. Thanks Jan cool picture.
Good Morning from snowy and shutdown Northeast Wisconsin. 6" of blowing snow over night and more on the way. Good day to relax, drink coffee, take a nap and get in some pickin' time in front of the fire.
Good morning from the end of my driveway.
Turns out it was NOT my 90 year old neighbor, clearing the snow.
It was the fellow down at the end of the block.
About half my age.
He was out there again, as I was heading to the dental appointment.
He likes being useful, and he knows that the 3 neighbors north of him are, in order, 80+ and 70+ and 90.
So he just did our sidewalks.
I offered him AT LEAST a couple bucks for gas for the machine, but he feels that if he accepts ANY money for being nice, it sort of ruins the whole concept.
Well, OK then.
Prosper and live long.
