I think I'm going to get one.I love the Hyundai except for that plastic feel on the wheel.

I think that you can still buy a pigskin wrap for a DIY project which looks quite respectable when all laced up.
Of equal value, consider the thinnest of leather driving gloves. The added friction on the wheel
will relax your grip for less arm fatigue. I used golfer's gloves from the "pro shop" on some course.

Ahhh! Another thing to wish for! Thank goodness none of the six vehicles cluttering up the yard actually belong to me, otherwise, this question would leave me in a tizzy.
Might I suggest you start with the gloves? You might find you don't mind the plastic in the summer.

I was going to suggest gloves too but Mander beat me to it. I use elkskin motorcycle gloves from Aerostich. They make any steering wheel feel better - even leather covered ones

Steve, you're the kind of guy who can do things himself, so I would recommend you check out Wheelskins. Very good quality leather and good people to work with. I put one on the steering wheel of the car in my avatar.

If you want to get creative, you can even get extra cord and lace the cover with a baseball type of stitch.

Wheelskins are 50-60 bucks on Amazon.
I'm going to town tomorrow and I think Autozone has 15-25 dollar wraps in real leather.
I can try more than one to get the best fit.
The Accent wheel has a couple of "thumb bumps" and that may take some trial and error.
